NASA Ames Research Center Awards Contract for Project and Engineering Support Services

On 14 December 2020 NASA selected Millennium Engineering and Integration Services LLC of Arlington, Virginia, for a contract to continue to provide support for flight and mission projects, including all advanced engineering capabilities needed to support the research and development mission at the agency’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California. This contract has a two-year base period, and three one-year option periods with a maximum value of $168,031,583. The Project Engineering Support Services II (PESS II) contract provide on-site services in integrally related disciplines and functions including systems engineering, design and development, fabrication, assembly and integration, testing, mission concept and design, mission operations, and project management and proposal development, primarily in support of the center’s Programs and Projects Directorate and Engineering Directorate.

Metis is honored to be part of Millennium’s PESS II team, which is dedicated to support flight and mission projects, including all advanced engineering capabilities needed for the research and development mission at Ames.

“I am very excited to stand with Millennium as we continue to expand and explore Space through the NASA Ames mission and continue to provide a highly technical and diverse workforce in support of this mission” stated James Theiss, Vice President of Space programs for Metis Technology Solutions Inc.  Metis will continue to provide excellent support in flight dynamics, systems engineering and test support as well as adding mission operations and project engineering expertise to our existing PESS I team.
