CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
BJ Foster is an accomplished executive with over two decades of leadership across aerospace, defense, technology, and professional services. As Chief Financial Officer at Metis Technology Solutions, she oversees all financial strategy and infrastructure in support of NASA and Department of Defense missions.
BJ has held CFO, COO, and CEO roles in organizations ranging from growth-stage firms to complex, classified federal contractors. She is an expert in Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), FAR/DFARS compliance, DCAA audits, and Deltek optimization. She has led financial operations through ERP transformations, post-merger integrations, and government audits, and has authored and implemented Special Security Agreements (SSAs) to support secure work under Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) requirements. Her leadership has consistently resulted in multi-year revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, and audit-ready financial frameworks that scale with mission demand.
BJ holds a BA in Accounting and an MBA from San Diego State University. She earned certificates in Federal Contracting from The George Washington University and in Digital Transformation from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
