SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT SPACE PROGRAMS

As Vice President of Space Programs, Brian Eslinger provides strategic technical leadership as well as day-to-day management of Metis personnel on several NASA and DoD engineering contracts. Brian’s experience includes Program Manager for the Engineering and Technical Services (ETS) contract at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center for American Systems Corporation and previously for Jacobs Engineering. ETS scope included Aerodynamics and Propulsion, Controls, Flight Systems, Aircraft Instrumentation, and structural engineering. As Director of Jacobs Systems Engineering Division, he additionally provided oversight of the Aerospace Research and Development Test & Evaluation A&AS Services at the Air Force Test Center; Combat Environment System III at Naval Air Warfare Center – Weapons Division at China Lake, and the Joint Range Technical Services contract at Nellis AFB – a combined responsibility for 260 employees and 200 subcontractors on these programs.

Brian received his Advanced Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Occidental College. He previously supported the Air Force Flight Test Center as a systems engineer and technical lead supporting range systems development including communications, telemetry, encryption, mission control room, video, timing, Time Space Position Information, command destruct systems, and video. He also served as chairman of the Range Commander’s Council (RCC) Telecommunications and Timing Group, where he conceived and lead the effort for creating IRIG Standard 218, Telemetry Transmission over Internet Protocol.
