Jennifer Paulik is the Vice President of Human Resources at Metis Tech. Her key focus areas are recruiting, retention, Statutory Compliance, and HR Strategic operational improvement. She has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources Management and Operations. Jennifer retired from the U.S. Army in February 2016. During her time in the Army she worked in Leadership, Strategic and Operational Human Resources roles at all levels. Some of her prior positions included Program Manager, HR Operations Officer, Deputy Director, and Commander.  While in these roles, gained a reputation for solving problems and improving programs.

As an HR Operations Officer, she designed the first Annual Human Resources training program for an organization of over 25,000 personnel with multiple organizations on separate training timelines and requirements. As a Program Manager, she managed the Army’s most visible program, the Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) program for an installation supporting over 35,000 personnel. As a Commander, she managed a variety of operations including the San Jose Military Entrance Processing Station and a variety of Postal Operations units across the world.  In addition to her regular duties, she also served as a Contract Officer Representative (COR) for two multi-million-dollar postal contracts in Iraq and Kuwait. Jennifer also served in specialized capacities including special duties as an EEO Representative, Postal Trainer and Sexual Assault Response Coordinator. She earned a BS and MS in Business Administration, a Master of Jurisprudence in Employment and Labor Law, and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and is a member of Delta Mu Delta, an International Business Honors Society.
