PROGRAM MANAGER, SIMULATION LABORATORIES
As Program Manager on the Aerospace Research Technology and Simulations (ARTS)
contract at NASA Ames Research Center, Sig provides oversight for all technical and
financial performance on the ARTS contract. The ARTS contract provides high fidelity
motion and airspace simulation for NASA’s internal and external research customers
evaluating future Air Traffic management and aerospace vehicle concepts. Sig has over
30 years of experience in aviation management, research, strategic planning, and
systems development and integration. Prior to his current position, Sig was the
Maintenance and Operations Manager on the ARTS contract, primarily responsible for
the Vertical Motion Simulator.
Before joining Metis, Sig was the Associate Chief of Operations of the Spaceflight
Division at Ames. Sig retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Colonel after 30 years of
service as an aircraft maintenance officer. He holds an undergraduate degree in
Management from the US Air Force Academy and his MBA from West Coast
University.
