August, 2013. The Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) has completed its review of the Metis accounting system and has concluded that the system is suitable designed for award of a prospective contract in accordance with the criteria contained in FAR 53.209-1(f). Successful review of our accounting system by DCAA is an important milestone for Metis as new company doing business in the Federal marketplace. Following our company’s ISO certification during our first year of operation, the DCAA accounting system approval reflects Metis’ investment in a robust infrastructure to support all aspects of Federal contract compliance.
