In October 2020, Metis successfully completed two benchmark appraisals for Capabilities Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) certification. This is a significant milestone for the company as it awards the Maturity Level-3 certification credentials for both the Development (CMMI-DEV) and Service (CMMI-SVC) tracks within the appraisal process. CMMI-DEV is used to improve engineering and development processes in an organization that develops products. CMMI-SVC is used to improve management and service delivery processes in an organization that develops, manages, and delivers services. At maturity level 3, processes are well characterized and understood and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods.
