Metis Technology Solutions, Inc. has been selected for a Platinum HIRE Veterans medallion from the U.S. Department of Labor. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing (HIRE) American Military Veterans Act is the only federal award program that recognizes small businesses, non-profit organizations, and large companies for leadership in promoting veterans’ employment. The award recognizes employers that meet standards for excellence in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of military veterans. Metis is one of the few companies nationwide to receive the recognition during all six years of its existence.

Metis received a Platinum medallion, the highest level of recognition awarded by the program, for the second year in a row. Recipients of the 2023 HIRE Vets Medallion Award meet rigorous employment and veteran integration assistance criteria, including veteran hiring and retention percentages; availability of veteran-specific resources; leadership programming; dedicated human resource efforts; and pay compensation and tuition assistance programs.
