Metis Technology Solutions again captured a spot in the top five companies recognized by New Mexico’s Flying 40 awards. The program recognizes the achievements of some of New Mexico’s top—performing technology companies, while celebrating their critical contributions to the state’s economy. The Flying 40 reflects three categories of companies: top revenue-producing firms, top revenue-growth companies with more than $10 million in annual income, and fast-growing firms with between $1 million and $10 million in revenue. This year, Metis was the 3rd fastest-growing company in the over $10 million annual revenue category, gaining 390% revenue growth between 2014 and 2018.
“We’re honored to be recognized by the Flying 40 committee for the third year in a row,” said Joy Colucci, president and CEO of Metis. “Our Albuquerque headquarters staff has achieved so much in the past few years, taking the company to over 100 employees and pushing our revenue into the over $10 million category.”
This year’s celebration took place at the Albuquerque BioPark/Zoo on June 19, 2019, with trophies inspired by the Park’s newest Penguin Chill installation.
