Metis Technology Services, Inc. (Metis) is proud to announce that the company is an awardee on the SeaPort Next Generation (NxG) contract for professional support services as part of the second rolling admissions for the procurement vehicle. SeaPort NxG is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery / indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract that provides the United States Navy with an integrated approach to contracting for professional support services. This contract vehicle seeks to enhance small business participation by the Navy.

Metis looks to provide engineering services to the Navy through this the IDIQ contract. The engineering services category covers 12 functional areas, including software engineering, development, programming, and network support; measurement facilities, range and instrumentation support; research and development; and modeling, simulation, stimulation and analysis support. Approximately $5 billion worth of services will be procured annually through orders issued under SeaPort NxG. Awards issued under the contract will have a four-year period of performance.
