Metis Selected for NASA Space Station Services Contract

Metis Technology Solutions is thrilled to be an award recipient on the NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) Research, Engineering & Mission Integration Services-2 (REMIS-2) contract. This seven-year contract supports full utilization of the International Space Station (ISS) by providing “spaceflight, ground hardware and software, sustaining engineering functions and services, payload facility integration, and research mission integration operations services.”

Metis is an authentically woman-owned small business (WOSB) headquartered in Albuquerque, NM and teamed with the Minority Institutions (MIs) of University of New Mexico (UNM) and New Mexico Tech (NMT) for REMIS-2. This provides access to and utilization of the facilities, faculties, and students of the UNM Cosmiac and Launchpad and the NMT Laboratory for Intelligent Systems and Structures (LISS). “This partnership brings the strength of the New Mexico Technology Corridor to benefit NASA and the ISS and furthers Agency DEIA goals by utilization of a true WOSB and MIs”, said Metis Vice President of Business Development Larry Strader.

With this award, Metis now supports nine different NASA Centers and Department of Defense (DOD) locations worldwide, expanding our core capabilities of spaceflight systems, satellite ground systems, modeling and simulation, safety and mission assurance, and research, development, test, and evaluation.
