Metis Wins NASA Aerospace Research Technology and Simulation Contract

Metis Technology Solutions, Inc. (Metis) was awarded the Aerospace Research Technology and Simulation (ARTS) contract at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, California. Metis is scheduled to begin contract transition on October 17, 2024, to continue providing engineering and technical services for NASA at Ames Research Center (ARC) and at Langley Research Center (LaRC). The performance period begins Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024, with a one-year base period, and options to extend performance through November 2029.

“Throughout our partnership with NASA, Metis has shared the agency’s commitment to advancing space and aviation sciences to broaden our exploration of the Earth, Moon, and beyond,” said Metis CEO, Dr. Joy Colucci. “The ARTS contract builds on more than 10 years of continuous support at ARC and LaRC, both key components of our NASA portfolio which includes nine locations across the agency.”

Under this contract, Metis will perform aerospace engineering and application programming, graphics programming, simulator hardware and mechanical systems engineering and operations, maintenance, safety and mission assurance, compliance, and configuration management for the Ames Aviation Systems Division.
