Metis is proud to be a member of the Engility Corporation team awarded a prime position on the 5-year, $200 million Traffic Management Systems Engineering Development Support (TMSEDS) contract. Through this award from the Department of Transportation’s John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, the Engility team will deliver highly technical and scientific capabilities and skills to help the Volpe Center respond to new and emerging challenges. The Volpe Center’s mission is to improve the nation’s transportation system by anticipating emerging issues and advancing technical, operational and institutional innovations. Engility was one of five companies awarded a position on this contract. TMSEDS task orders will include work Engility is currently providing under the Traffic Management Infrastructure Systems contract and will allow for bidding on new task orders as well. Metis will support Engility with capabilities in the Air Traffic Control domain with Subject Matter Expertise in emerging traffic management technologies.
